Worship

At Peace, worship is at the center of who we are and what we do. That is where Christ comes to us through Word, bread, wine, water and Christian fellowship.

We worship weekly on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. The service is a lively mix of interactive liturgy and creative music and prayer. Communion is served each Sunday and all are welcome to receive the gifts of bread and wine, including children. If parents feel their children aren't ready to receive communion, they may bring them forward to receive a blessing.

Children are a vibrant and vital part of the body of Christ and are always welcome in worship (noise included!). Children’s Church and nursery care are provided weekly for those who wish to use them. Children's Church is a time during the service when children are invited to the Sunday School room for activities that include a Bible story, craft activities, drama and music based on the Bible lesson of the day. Children return to the sanctuary in time for communion.

Throughout the year we have additional special worship services including healing services, prayer around the cross, and Wednesday evening worship during the season of Lent.
